CU Boulder Professor
Bio:
Becky is a geochronologist at CU Boulder, where she directs the Thermochronology Research and Instrumentation Lab (CU TRaIL). Her research combines thermochronology, geochronology, and geologic observations to address problems in continental tectonics and mantle dynamics, with a recent emphasis on applying “deep-time” (U-Th)/He thermochronology to better understand the coupling of deeper Earth and surface processes. Her lab also focuses on developing and refining (U-Th)/He thermochronometers. She completed her BSc at the College of William & Mary, her MSc at the University of Utah, her PhD at MIT, and a postdoc at Caltech. Becky is an avid ultrarunner.
