Josh is a graduate student working with Oli at MIT. Like much of the team, he’s fascinated by the interactions between climate and plate tectonics. At the moment, his focus lies in testing the causality between tropical arc-continent collisions and global cooling. He uses geochemistry and statistical models to infer the weathering rates of rocks, with an eye towards the past. Outside of geology, Josh maintains a 1 year old sourdough starter called Randall and plays ultimate as often as possible.
